Why Big Data?
Complexities in facilities, speciallly in the Renewable energy, has been tacked by the engineers by building very large monitoring systems. But on one side you have more data, but on the other hand it is very hard to manage it…. This ends up in that only a tiny bit of that data is analysed on the long term because plants don’t have the HW, SW nor skills to manage it. Data goes to a DATA CEMENTERY and we know that today no analytics means higher Risk of Revenue Loss. Big Data Analytics provides the ability to get such an insight
How big is the gap between plan and real production?
It dependes of the state of the facility but we have demonstrated that in a well manage facility we can incease yield by 4% what it menas for a 100 MW facility a full additional production year in the lispam of the facility
Which DATA?
By adding the analytical capabilities of Big Data we are able to analyze millions of records and increase the insight you have around your facilities. We do analyze all monitoring data, O&M logs, stock spare parts inventory as well as external data (Weather, Forecast Weather Financial, Energy pricing etc.)
